The second important step to comic design is character design. This is what the class was about, majorly.
Ma’am told us to research about a few artists and get inspiration from their work and list down a few aspects from their style of making comics. Some used colours, some only used shades of grey and black, some had their own comical selves as their characters, some were completely fictional, etc.
I chose Catana Comics as my inspiration as my comic strip is an example from real life and I wanted my comic not to be coloured and only in shades of grey. Also, my characters are very geometrical.
